Following two years of inactivity, a project will be commenced in Brno capable of offering space for industrial uses. The developer, Raifeissen Leasing Real Estate, through its subsidiary RLRE Carina Property s.r.o., has obtained a building permit for the development of a project named H-PARK with a floor area of approximately 8,000 square metres. The project will offer a mix of business, office and storage facilities for lease. The project is situated just outside the city centre, next to the Heršpická Street commercial zone.
The Cushman & Wakefield industrial team has been instructed to lease the property.
“The Brno market possesses a unique position in the Czech Republic. The demand for industrial property has for many years exceeded the supply there. This is due to a lack of land suitable for commercial developments. Therefore, the arrival of a new developer represents a welcome revival”, says Jaroslav Kaizr, Head of the Industrial Team at Cushman & Wakefield.
“Raifeissen Leasing Real Estate may offer an interesting alternative to those occupiers who do not feel like leaving for the industrial parks located in the outskirts of Brno and prefer premises within reach of the city centre and with good visibility”, Kaizr adds.
“We have stabilised the location of the H-PARK project and the implementation of its first phase is ready to be launched. It took us two years to obtain a planning permit covering the entire project and a building permit for the business and storage facilities”, says Hynek Stupák, Development Manager, Raifeissen Leasing Real Estate. In the future, the developer plans to extend the project by adding its second phase consisting of office space.
