The industrial zone in Kvasiny is expanding quickly
The area of the industrial zone in Kvasiny has almost doubled over the last year. It currently comprises 110,000 square metres and includes halls set up primarily by Škoda Auto’s suppliers. One example is Magna E&I’s new manufacturing plant that will launch production by the end of the year. The modern 12,000 sq m facility was built by the developer M. Preymesser. Magna E&I organised the tender with the goal of finding the best industrial property in close cooperation with Cushman & Wakefield.
“Choosing the premises for Magna took six months. Proximity to the Škoda Auto plants in Kvasiny was one of the primary criteria. Another reason that contributed towards the selection of this project was that it was ready for immediate execution”, explains Jakub Kodr of Cushman & Wakefield. “The industrial zone in Kvasiny near Rychnov nad Kněžnou is growing as a whole.
The reasons include the new opportunities for Škoda Auto’s suppliers and the numerous subsidies on the part of the state and the Hradec Králové Region aimed at strengthening the local infrastructure, expanding the industrial zone and improving civic amenities in the area“, adds Mr Kodr.
