Pino Components is expanding its manufacturing operations in the Czech Republic
The Spanish manufacturer is moving and doubling its leased area
Pino Components, the Spanish-based manufacturer of plastic components for the automotive industry, is radically expanding its manufacturing base in the Czech Republic. To that end, the company is doubling its operating area to approximately 5,500 square metres.
Pino Components is moving to CTPark in Mlada Boleslav. The company previously operated in its own premises in Liberec where it was unable to expand. Cushman & Wakefield’s Industrial Team found the new premises.
“We offered the client five alternatives that met their requirements. However, since time and the possibility of an expedite move were among the top decision-making criteria, the choice of CTPark in Mlada Boleslav was very quick. The new hall is prepared for the move and production can start at the very beginning of the year,” says Jakub Kodr of C&W who worked on the transaction in a team with Laurent Jechoux.
The space in CTPark Mlada Boleslav was the only option in the area that was available immediately. After Pino Components’ take-up of the premises, Mlada Boleslav currently has no vacant Class A space on offer for immediate lease. The situation is the same in Liberec.
“Pino Components has won new contracts that need to be delivered immediately. The discussions about the new hall took just three and half months until the execution of the lease agreement. This confirms that the automotive industry is one of the most active market sectors this year,” adds Laurent Jechoux.
The developer CTP is preparing an enlargement of the park in Mlada Boleslav – options include the construction of halls with a total area of up to 40,000 square metres.
