Mitsui-Soko prolonged the lease in Lovosice
Japanese logistics company Mitsui-Soko has renegotiated the lease in Lovosice and newly lease more than 3,600 square meters at Logistic Park Lovosice. Mitsui-Soko provides logistics services to primarily Japanese companies in the automotive and electronics industries. The transaction was brokered by our consultancy company Cushman & Wakefield.
Mitsui-Soko leased the space at the Logistic Park Lovosice in 2007. This year, its lease agreement came to expiry. “The company had to decide whether to remain in the current space or whether to look for other possibilities. At the same time, it wanted to take advantage of today’s favourable situation on the market for industrial space and to negotiate the best possible conditions,” says Mrs. Mayumi Yokozeki, who worked on the transaction.
“Company headquarters had decided that the Czech office should partially reduce the amount of leased space. The tenant originally attempted to renegotiate the lease conditions on their own, but because they did not achieve the expected outcome, they decided to work with a real estate consultant. In addition to a reduction in the leased surface, we also managed to negotiate conditions reflecting long term co-operation,” explains Mayumi Yokozeki.
Logistic Park Lovosice offers a total surface area of around 17,000 square meters for lease. Another important tenant is NCH Corporation, which focuses on industrial cleaning & maintenance. The park’s developer is the eponymous Logistic Park Lovosice.
