Craiss moves to Zličín Business Centre
The German carrier Craiss is a new occupier at Zličín Business Centre. The company has leased 500 square metres of storage space and 400 square metres of office space there. The occupier came to the park through Cushman & Wakefield, which represented the developer, Amesbury.
“Craiss was looking for suitable premises to establish its corporate headquarters there. It was mainly interested in the western outskirts of Prague, due to the easy connection to Germany. Zličín Business Centre has met their expectations with its favourable location, outstanding visibility from the main roads, as well as good quality premises. The new occupier chose it from several options and decided for Zličín Business Centre fairly quickly”, says Mr Christopher LaRue of the Industrial Team of Cushman & Wakefield, which was involved in the transaction.
Craiss will start on the leased premises on 1 February 2011. The other occupiers include, for example, xxxLutz, Profimed, Nippon Express, CS Cargo, and others.
“We have witnessed a certain revival on the market of modern industrial property. Aside from demand from the existing occupiers, new requests have also appeared which help fill the existing modern premises step by step. The share of vacant premises dropped to 10.6 percent in the Czech Republic at the end of the last year. Even though there were 16.8 percent vacant existing premises in the middle of year 2009”, says Mr Jaroslav Kaizr, Head of the Industrial Letting Team of C&W.
The total floor area of Zličín Business Centre extends to 34,000 square metres of modern industrial premises, including 5,500 square metres of vacant property.
